Sgt. Frank B. Hernandez

Hi Dave. I just found this site, and it was comforting to find more news of the Stryker Brigade.
Our son-in-law, Sargent Frank B. Hernandez, Jr. was a gunner in the Stryker Brigade, stationed out of Fort Lewis, Washington. He was killed in action in Tal Afar, Iraq Feb. 17, 2005 in the middle of his second tour. Our family still aches from his loss. My daughter, Cristin, his widow, and Aiden, their 16 month old son, somehow go on day after day. We visited his grave today to put flowers there and I still can't believe he will not be coming home with the other soldiers. I am sure that every family that has lost some one to this and every other war feels the same way. We are and always will be proud of Frankie and all the other men and women who guard this country's freedom. I pray every night for the safe return of every one of them.
Please pass on the love and admiration we have for all the men and women in the business of protecting freedom, not just for Americans, but for all the people who are in need of their protection. To the men and women of the Stryker Brigade ...... Thank You! Keep your head down, (ride a little lower in that turret) stay safe, and come home soon. You are all heros.
With all the love and Respect you can imagine,
